Its 4 Days to Christmas... so incredibly NEAR
I am incredibly busy today since Val is on leave and I am covering her
duties too. Just sneaking some time to update my blog since I have loads
of things to write about.
Bloody hell... the bank has blocked my access to my blog. Now I will
just have to rely on blogging in office and updating at home. How
irritating!
1. Christmas Presents

alala... nice right!!!
I am happy with the way I wrapped my Christmas presents this year. Plus
I drew the snowflake and made the gift tag all myself. Now its almost
time to distribute the presents. Still I am missing one gift. If I buy a
snow globe, it seems like a waste of money. Not sincere at all. Need to
think again. I hate hate hate hate shopping for Christmas presents.
2. Chow Chow
Chow Chow is SO CUTEZ! We saw one at Pasir Ris Farmway on sunday. There
was this field that you can bring your dogs and there were a few dogs
running and chasing each other playfully. Only this chow chow standing
on its own. Like it could not be bothered with the surrounding. I kind
of pity the chow chow cos its thick fur is not suitable for our climate.
Most of the time, it was sticking out its black tongue and looking blur.
3. Year End Lunch
Yvonne, Chi Chi, Sie Wei and Wai Hoong treated me to year end lunch at
Ember restaurant today. It's the little restaurant in Hotel 1929. I
remembered reading in some magazines that it is award winning.
For appetizer;
Sie Wei and Wai Hoong had the fried soft shell crab, erm... in my
opinion, does not look nice at all. Urgh~
Yvonne and Chi Chi had fried scallop that looks suspiciously like oval
shape crabmeat steak
I had the mushroom soup, YUM!
Main course;
Sie Wei had seafood spaghetti (Yvonne & Chi Chi commented that he was a
boring person always eating the same thing), missing clams *haha*
Yvonne and Chi Chi had codfish and they insist it's the best. Yvonne
even commented people should not order chicken cos you can eat chicken
like everywhere??? *rolled eye*
Wai Hoong and I had the roasted chicken, there is some Indian spice.
Does not click with Wai Hoong's tastebud but I think its good anyway.
Heard that Ember is famous for its dessert.
Sie Wei had chocolate cake... boring
Yvonne and Chi Chi had banana crepe
Wai Hoong and I had apple strudel and banana tart respectively... topped
off with lavender ice cream! Interesting taste, I would say that
lavender ice cream is edible, quite nice actually. Plus the banana tart
is fantastic! I recommend to all.
Lunch was about $40 per head. Can consider going some other time
*poke at tummy* BIG LIAO! Nvm cos I am going swimming! Ciao~ almost time
to knock off. YIPPEE
